Patient data

The clinician who sends the case remains the data controller for the patient’s data. We act as data processor, solely on the clinician’s instructions, within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR.

Where the files go

• Cases are sent through digitalguides.eu, not from this website.
• Files are stored in DENTOMEDICA’s Microsoft 365 tenant, inside the European Union, with Microsoft as sub-processor.
• Access is limited to the people working on that particular case.

The guide as a medical device

The surgical guide is custom-made for a named patient, on the clinician’s prescription. It is delivered non-sterile and is sterilised by the clinician before every use.
