Five steps — R2 Center Hellas
The difference between a case that runs and a case that stalls is not the planning. It is the files. This page says exactly what is needed, so that nothing has to come back.
The process
Five steps. Two of them are yours.
What you do not need to do yourself, we do. What you have to approve, you see on your own screen before anything is printed.
01
You send
You upload the CBCT (DICOM) and the STL files. If you work conventionally, send impressions or models, and the R2 tray if one was used.
02
Merge & plan 48 HOURS
DICOM superimposed on STL, digital wax-up, implants placed. If something is wrong in the files, you hear it from us — not from the delay.
03
You approve
You open the plan in R2GATE Lite on a PC, Mac, iPad or phone. Approve it, or ask for a change. No call is required.
04
Print & mill
The guide is printed and checked for fit on the model. If immediate loading was ordered, the prosthetic work is milled as well.
05
Delivery
Guide, prosthetic work and drilling protocol together, in 5–10 working days. The exact date is confirmed the moment you approve the plan. The guide is delivered non-sterile — sterilise it before surgery, every time.
Approval
The plan opens on your screen, not on ours.
R2GATE Lite is free and runs almost everywhere. It downloads your case automatically, lets you rotate it, measure, move an implant — and then approve it. You do not have to learn planning software to check a piece of work.
Before you send
The four mistakes that void a CBCT
Check straight after the scan, while the patient is still in the chair. Any doubt — scan again.
Positioning
The wrong patient position or the wrong field setting leaves the implant site outside the volume.
Biting
With an R2 tray, the patient does not bite on the bite block. The pressure displaces it.
Movement
Movement during the scan or a sensor fault puts scatter through the volume.
Coverage
A hard bite pulls the tray away. Every tooth and the remaining ridge must be covered.
Times, with no small print
| Stage | Time |
|---|---|
| Plan ready for approval | 48 hours from the moment the files are complete |
| Guide after approval, within Greece | 5–10 working days |
| Faster delivery | by arrangement, at a corresponding charge |
| Shipping outside Greece | quoted per shipment |
| Full-arch with immediate loading | per case — given in writing before we start |
The 48 hours run from the moment the files are complete and usable — not from the moment they were uploaded. That is what the CBCT check below is for. The guide time depends on the case and is confirmed in writing when you approve the plan.

Upload your first case
The form asks for everything needed so that no phone call is required: the files, the sites in FDI notation, the implant system and the surgical kit. You get a reference number and a tracking link.
